#17: Connecting Hearts (Mirrorcreator | MT)
Truly satisfying ending, especially with that Dereban power over 9000! Glad that it ended well but stop dreaming that Heartseed/Balloon Vine’s plot is over here. He has a lot of alternatives to break Taichi & Co. down.
I just wanna do a quick review here, so here’s my rating:
- Story (8.8/10)
- Animation, Art & Design (8.5/10)
- Music/Audio (8.0/10)
- Overall (9.0/10)
The thing that I really love about this series is the story balancing. The comedic part & the dramatic part were balanced well. I’m also like how the characters developing throughout the series. We have learned the character’s past, hidden desires & so on. Really enjoyable in my opinion. Now I really love this series & I’ll be looking forward to another season of Kokoro Connect! (depending on the producers….)
#15: You Don’t See It, You Don’t Get It (Mirrorcreator)
#16: Determination and Resolution (Mirrorcreator)
Final episode later. Also, dat imouto kiss.
#14: Lives in Shambles (Mirrorcreator | MT)
One arc that contains 4 episodes aired on TV straight away in a day, during New Year’s Eve!
This phenomenon seems interesting, emotion transmission which will ‘transmit’ the person’s hidden feelings into someone’s mind. This arc mainly focused on Iori, Inaba & Taichi, so what are Iori’s hidden feelings that we’re so curious for? Even she keeps bugging herself about her true self. (Insert Persona 4 reference here)
Still working out with the remaining 3 episodes. So, let the drama begin!
1 day late, but akemashite omedetou & HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013 guys!
#13: As Long As We’re Together (Mirrorcreator | MT)
The shortest arc in the series. This episode is primarily at Iori again, this time about family matters.
This will be an episode finale for TV broadcast, but not the whole series because according to Kokoro Connect official Twitter account written in Japanese, the Michi Random arc (Ep 14-17) will be first shown at a live event, followed by the Blu-ray releases in March and April 2013, probably due to the unfortunate incident during the voice acting audition. I’m quite unhappy about it. Screw that producer!
Anyway, since this series hasn’t finished yet, I’m not doing a review about this yet.
#12: On a Snowy Street (Mirrorcreator | MT)
This episode seems really packed up. Yoshifumi’s & Yui’s problem have been resolved in a single episode. And Mr. Aoki seems getting more mature time by time.
#11: We Were Told About It Before It Started (Mirrorcreator | MT)
This phenomenon is really different than the others. It’s a time regression so it reverts someone to a younger age. So prepare yourself, kawaii, moe & loli things are everywhere.
Anyway, enjoy this little cutie Kako Random (lit. Random Past) arc. We’ll see the characters developing in this arc. It’s good to learn their past.
#10: What Saying It Means (Mirrorcreator | MT)
Inaba with tears in the end. Good or bad? Find out yourself.
It seems Balloon Vine made another troll again, but it’s not that great than the previous one. The DUS (Desire Unleashing Syndrome) has been vanished as well. But hold your horses, the series is still not over yet because another kind of phenomenon will come up in the next arc which is ‘Kako Random’.
With this, Himeko Inaba’s tale ends here.
