This OVA came out for a long time ago, I think around last month. So here you go, more curiousness of Hyouka! Now with obligatory swimming pool fanservice. Oreki is curious about ‘something’ too, haha.
Here’s the final bits of mystery for this season. Gonna miss with the “I’m curious!” catchphrase, and the ending was pretty beautiful.
Somehow this episode gave me the Nurarihyon no Mago’s feel, since the composer of this series was the same person who done the music for the anime I’ve mentioned.
Anyway, I don’t want to write a long review this time ’cause it’s midnight at my area &
I feel asleep (Damn it! An influence from Metal Gear!) I’m about to get asleep. So to sum up, animation is top-notch (obviously it’s done by KyoAni), the series packed with mysteries. Musics good too, it feels relaxing.
Now my eyes are reaching the limits, the final verdict:
- Story (8.2/10)
- Animation, Art & Design (9.3/10)
- Music/Audio (8.0/10)
- Overall (8.8/10)
Good job, Hyouka.
And that’s the end of Detective Oreki’s Kanya Festival tale. Well played….
If you go around 09:07, you’ll see a comment made by myself regarding one of the HorribleSubs’ jokes. ‘Yolko’ & ‘Schmitt’ names made by the fansub group are now changed to the actual ones which is ‘Yoruko’ & ‘Schmidt’.
And guess what? Lisbeth was in Asuna’s friend list. That means next episode will be her story.
