Here we go again guys. The debate regarding SAO is about to begin again. I looked at the discussion threads mostly in Crunchyroll & MyAnimeList and honestly, I laughed at the comments with different opinions posted by them. In any case, I am still not changing the fact that SAO is overrated.
My intuition about the 1st episode reception was right, it was enormously huge. Fortunately, I have to say it is a good start to an arc called “Phantom Bullet”. BUT I’m not going to be deceived by only one episode. This episode is interesting simply because of the introduction about the GGO incident including the explanations by Kazuto, thus giving hints related to the technology found in Accel World. The only thing I worry about is when they’re in the middle of solving the case, they’ll like went into the romance melodramatic mode which is unrelated to the case. Honestly, I really don’t like it in SAO.
Y’know what? Let’s be optimistic here. This series has a good point too. The author really wanted to educate us that gamers have life too. Kazuto & Asuna as hardcore gamers met for the first time in an online game so technically they didn’t met in real life. Then after several events, they’re now a couple in real world. See, even gamers can have their own life. So it’s time to log out from any online games, close your PC or anything that can run video games, go out and LOOK UP… LMAO.
Anyway, enjoy SAO2, but my most anticipated anime of the season is yet to happen. Feel free to make a donation here to support blog site upgrades & the monthly Internet costs.
