Gosh… This show is really great. I can’t wait to watch the 2nd season to see the other 2 ‘beasts’. So we might hear a plenty of Hiroshi Kamiya’s voice acting next season as Seijuurou Akashi.
- Story (8.5/10)
- Animation, Art & Design (8.1/10)
- Music/Audio (8.8/10)
- Overall (9.0/10)
Every match I’ve seen in this series were really intense. The techniques of the basketball were really cool but I think some of them looks too good to be true, if you know what I mean. The music tunes were pretty catchy especially during the match. The animation is OK, only the flaw about this was the animation of the character using the hand-drawn design, because you’ll see some ‘pencil sketches’ especially around the neck part of each character. The plot seems straight forward to the point; no fillers included.
In a nutshell, it’s the best sports anime of the season. While Slam Dunk kept its name for the all-classic yet influential basketball anime, Kuroko no Basuke is all about modern basketball play style.
